Is the Apple iPhone hype finished?

Apple doesn't seem to be really innovative anymore. They release the same phone every year with a few updates and call it a must have product. The apple message boards are loaded with complaints about supposedly "nearly flawless" products. The one thing Apple seems to be great about is supporting their hardware and offering relatively painless warranty exchanges.

I have an apple eco system and the iphone 5 was my first iphone. Most of the time I can't send mms. Having said that, my Evo sucked shit and I couldn't rely on getting my email. People seem to not realize that Apple made all that money by dealing with niche customer base and making extremely profitable products. Now the masses want less profitable products to be made. Which they may start doing. Which will suck.

My iphone 5 does some weird shit every once in a while. it freezes for a split second occasionally and is zoomed in when I thit home sometimes. My Siri never did anything weird. I guess it's a little faster than that one but I didn't notice a difference.
Oh, and it has a 1 1/4" x 5/15" (at the widest) semi-circle crack in the glass from the other night.
I put my phone on my lap instead of the cup holder when I was done texting on the way home from the bar the other night, and it went flying onto my driveway when I got out at home.
If I parked had just parked where I do 50% of the time it would have landed on the grass but I was going the wrong way down the 1 way and I didnt want to turn around to park.

I like my iPhones

This. I don't really care what other people think is the new hot phone. iPhone just works well for me. I upgraded to the 64 gig iPhone 5 today (listen to a lot of podcasts) and couldn't be happier with it.

My iphone 5 is extremely stable. Never even a hiccup since I got it a few months ago

My android on the other hand. I have to reboot it every few days.
