We get it, Nick. We got it the first time, we got it the fiftieth time.

There's a way to do it, which, as a comedian, he should know. It's his job to make his comments palatable, or funny, or entertaining, or interesting.

He was none of those things, so he got the boot. There's really nothing to argue or debate. Him getting shit-canned is kind of proof-positive that he was radio-cancer, as is the fact that he didn't get his own show, and there's no big announcement coming from the Nicky D. camp, either.

    Goodnight, unfunnyman!

They paid him to go away. That's colossal-failure. We'd rather you just stfu than do your job. Here's some cash; go away.

Also, the way he'd make excuses when his teams lost: "they were two plays away!", "Gronkowski......................", blah, blah, blah..........................that shit wore really, really thin.

He was just a cranky old bitch all the way around.

Didn't like Nick's political talk? Sport stories sometime have to involve social and political commentary because they are a microcosm of life. ESPN understands this and has hit gold entwining the two.
However, Artie didn’t want to talk about anything like that. Shit he didn’t want to talk sports unless it was the Yankees and The Giants. Oh yea and the old stories we’ve heard a million times and “Stern …” this or that.

It’ is funny to see some sycophant fags on here suck Arties ass and call Nick miserable because of his Boston personality or political comedy in which they have no sense of humor. The reality is Nick is a college educated man, who has healthy personal and business relationships outside the show, and is a well respected comic among his peers like Chris Rock, Seinfeld, Louis CK etc. He is not some miserable addicted dirt bag back stabber who burns bridges. Artie is the fake “every man” and fake "fun guy."

Realness? Artie is a mean spirited junkie who cries like a bitch if he’s teased or lashes out and ruins every relationship: business or personal, he’s ever had. He’s irresponsible and doesn’t care who he takes down on his way to the gutter. He's also a hack stand up and barely funny on this show.
Nick is on another level as a stand up, he’s on another level intellectually, and frankly as a person over Artie.

Nick got his cash for the rest of his contract I’m sure. He should be happy to get the money and run without having the embarrassment of this show going down in flames thanks to loser Lange’s drug problems. Artie is a big miserable fuck up with no real friends because he can't keep his shit together…period.

It usually wasn't. He'd bring up some story that wasn't interesting and then interject some bullshit that was at best tangentially related. Or he'd just bring up Obama himself for some reason. When dan would get ripped on, Nick's work would involve Dan being a chicago liberal. It was inane.

Back to Nick being a respected and hilarious stand-up while Artie makes fart noises on the radio that make his adoring throng of idiot fans laugh.

Nick's " Boston personality" ? Nick's miserableness has nothing to do with where he is from. I am from Boston too, and I don't know too many people who are as miserable and as crotchety as Nick is. I think Nick would be miserable no matter where he is from.

Respected, hilarious stand ups get HBO specials. Road comics get Showtime specials. Raw Nerve = Showtime, ergo Nick=Road Comic. Don't worry though, I'm sure Rick's phone will be ringing off the hook when they make that Suddenly Susan movie.

Wanda Sykes, Jim Jeffries, Ellen DeGeneres, Lewis Black, Martin Lawrence, Dane Cook, Whoopi, George Lopez... What a prestigious list of comedians. Hopefully they can one day get Carlos Mencia to sign on to that distinguished list of comics with HBO specials.

Look, you can pick the worst stand ups that have done anything, but the fact is that pretty much every big time stand up does an HBO special. HBO did specials for all of them because they were drawing enough people to pack an auditorium, even if they were hacks. There's a reason they kept giving George Carlin specials, he was good. But don't listen to me, I am an Artie Zombie after all. Just make sure you buy a ticket for Rick the next time he tapes a special at the Chuckle Hut and begs Showtime to play it.

    Lewis Black is awesome!

Nick "left" to pursue other great opportunities as The Nick and Artie Facebook page said when they announced Nick wouldn't be back. And according to Nick's official website, you are right, seems Nick's phone has been ringing off the hook with great opportunities.(I know you were being sarcastic by the way, I just wanted to add to it) Here are some of the "great opportunities that Nick is taking part in-

    http://www.nickdip.com/site/dates/

I hope Nick can handle all these great opportunities. Especially the "Red Eye" show on Fox that airs at 3am.

FYI, Red Eye's viewership is abundantly larger than Artie Lange's is on "Audience."

It's so hard to pick which of his 4 gigs the next 11 months I'm going to see. The one in July or the one in November? Tough choices with all these opportunities

Tough for an Artie fan to figure out but I think that he's just beginning to fill up his schedule now that he's done with N&A.

Jay Leno gets paid a lot more than Artie to do gigs so I guess, according to your logic, that means that Leno's the superior comedian? Rush Limbaugh gets paid a lot more for his radio show than Artie gets paid for his...you must be a huge Rush Limbaugh fan then. Why judge talent when we can just scan a person's ratings and income? Gangnam Style is my favorite video on Youtube, American Idol is my favorite TV shows, and the Yankees are my favorite baseball team. I also enjoy Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber. So much easier now that I'm a mindless zombie.

Enjoy the remaining weeks of the Artie Lange Show.

Artie is not a great comedian. He is an okay comedian who gets better bookings than he should because he was on MadTV, The Norm Show and most importantly The Howard Stern Show. Artie would be the first to tell you that; he is a solid radio personality and a pretty good sketch actor (assuming that guy from MadTV still exists).

    I like how he's "resting up" April-June.

I'm kind of feeling bad for ltd...................at this point even he can't believe the schizophrenic nonsense he's posting.

First he makes a "Nick is playing to a bigger audience than Artie's" statement.......................as if the Red Eye gig is for more than one night, and as if he'll be making big bucks for that appearance.

But then, when people play along with his line of reasoning, he takes a stance against popular things.

This is the very definition of a zombie-fan.............................Stern-type "can do no wrong"-logic applied to the object of devotion.

    He should cut his losses.

I'm noticing a trend here; Nick-lovers and Artie-haters just aren't very bright. Logic and reason fail them at every turn.

Nobody can finish this simple sentence honestly and not look like a douchebag:

"I want to see Artie fail because ____________________"
"I heard you're.............really....................sick" - devoted wife Beth Ostrosky, to her husband, H. Allen Stern
