SO obviously he got paid off
Reppin Nick and Artie since Day 1
Well, he COULD talk, but then he wouldn't get paid. There was a local ESPN show host that I listened to who was fired for insulting Desmond Howard, and he actually turned them down and got another show on a rival station. All he does now is badmouth ESPN. I don't blame him, I would shut my mouth for nearly 1 million.

I find it interesting that Nick chose right NOW to finally break his silence over being gone from the show....
This is some David Lee Roth shit, exactly why he never dished on Stern after his debacle,
Definitely some hard feelings on Nick's part. Would have loved to have been in the executive meeting where he gave his walking papers. Artie would have been like, "well, fuck it... I'm not leaving this cush gig, pal."

Any chance he's suing for wrongful termination or something and that's why he can't talk?
If his contract was so bad via his reps Don Buchwald and Associates, that it isn't pay or play, then, yea, he basically has to. Maybe he got terminated with cause (wouldn't that be funny, he did something to get fired but Artie's still kickin'). I still bet they sat down with him and offered a lump sum and maybe a premium for a non disclosure, non compete (since that would be in a pay or play anyway)

What happens first, Artie as a guest on Howard Stern, or DiPaolo as a guest on the Artie Lange Show?
never even bothered to check rick's twitter, I don't see any new message there, looks like I and some others were had.
I was thinking about that too mpa. I'm sure there's some soft of non-compete clause
