When has Artie been givin the chance to host a show on his own? Let the show have a chance before you start saying its not gonna work

one of the FUNNIEST things nick ever said (and it's partially the WAY he said it) was when they were first making fun of Dan for sending the "HEY B!" text to Brock.

Artie was like "yeah, like THAT's what he wants to do, hit the town with dan!" and nick goes "i'd rather spend the weekend with James Holmes." (it was right after the Aurora shooting). i always remember the way he said it just cause it made me GUFFAW.

i liked their chemistry a while ago. lately, MEH.

I remember that line, that was a good one. I think you're right that the chemistry was a bit off recently, pretty much since they went on tv Nick became more of an uptight cunt...and I'm a pretty big fan of his.

Do we even know if Artie has a co-host for the "new" show? I hope it's not that fucking Stover, the guy is a stiff.

....that would be hilarious....thats one thing that bugged me about rick....every demented call, artie would try to milk it and rick all crusty and curmudgeonly would be like "can we dump this guy" or yell "goodbye" or, "hang up on this guy"....while artie would plead "no no no" to keep the caller on....then artie would blurt, "we love you,call us back" all disheartened.

here's to miliking more funny.more rod...more hanzi...more fan calls.......hopefully.

True. One could argue Rick was actively sabotaging the show when he did that shit. He just had to be the center of attention no matter the cost.

I just got back, wish I hadn't missed out on all of the excitement. if noting else the change has brought more activity to the N&A forum. I just wanted to mention to people who were commenting about affiliates being lost, a lot of it has to do with CBS radio. They've been buying up independent AM stations to increase their affiliates (after signing Jim Rome and Ferrall, among others) and are on a big push to take on ESPN and Fox Sports AM stations. I lost the AM station I could get the show on, but at least I have SXM. I don't really think it has as much to do with ratings or Nick leaving as some people think, but CBS radio is shit and they are destroying really good stations.

Prediction: Without Rick there to balance it out, the callers will take over and it will become a spin-off of The Howard Stern Show. Some of the regulars from Howard will become regulars on Artie's show, Howard will get upset and it will become a thing that he (Howard) rails against on-air.

See, that's what I'm really hoping for. At this point, goofing on Fellato is a million times funnier than goofing on The Sacred Monkey. More of Hanzi, ARM, RfB and maybe Jeff the Drunk and Crazy Alice, and you've got a show.
