Its called the Extreme Q. I honestly think it is one of the best, and is an absolute steal at $160! My only complaint (which is a small one) is that the fan is a little loud.

It's my first vaporizer, so I read shitloads of reviews of all the top sellers, and unless you wanna spend $500+ for a Volcano, this seems to be the best. I think I spent about $150 and got it from a seller on eBay.

My Review: It seems to do exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it well. I'm still playing around with the temperature settings, but I'm kinda liking it around 390º F. It's a little weird getting used to not drawing big old power rips and not coughing my lungs out...you gotta just do a slow easy draw, and you taste the herbs but no smoke! I have not tried the "balloon" method, but using the hose, aka "whip", it gets me where I wanna go
The fan makes some noise, but is not really obnoxious to me, and I'm gonna try to find a more flexible tubing to replace the whip that came with it.

I highly recommend getting a couple of extra Tornado Bowls, the stronger reinforced ones (that's the chamber where the goodness goes), I always manage to drop glass stuff and it is strong but it will break. And you're prolly gonna want a good grinder, not the cheap plastic one a lot of sellers give you when you buy.

Most important, find a seller, on eBay probably, where you can buy a large quantity of extra screens cheap, because you're gonna want them. A lot of places sell them like sets of 2 or 4 or 6 at pretty inflated prices, but if you buy them seperately, in bulk, like 20 at a time, they're actually cheaper than the prepackaged sets. And you don't really need extra flat screens, it's the little cup shaped ones you need, front and center in the picture above. The reason is, the cup shaped screen is what seperates you from the herbs, and gives you vapor without particles of weed....it clogs up after a few good sessions, and rather than clean it off each time, it's way more betterer to just pop in a new one and keep going. I put the gummed up ones in a jar or isopropyl alcohol, which I plan to eventually remove the cleaned screens and then allow to evaporate, and scrape up the hash oil (?) that's left from that....

Sorry to be so long winded. Feel free to axe me anything about it though. I'm a recent convert.

Great post, and great review. I also like that it is made of glass and the plastic is food grade. It gives off such a good taste.

Yeah, it's quality stuff. My mentality is always spend an extra $50 or $100 and get something that works right and is durable, rather than get the cheapo and end up with nothing but a broken POS.....

Thanks Sstressed, it's definitely not about the taste anymore. I have one brownie in the oven baking, should be ready soon. I put about 2 oz worth of vape ashes in it. Should get me a little toasted

Does anybody else think the buzz from eating is way different from smoking or vaping, as well as more potent and long-lasting? Maybe I always ate overdosed brownies, but it seemed more like acid or shrooms to me... I'm just not fond of it......

eating too much is a very uncomfortable feeling. i always measure out an exact amount for each cookie/fire cracker that i eat. i start with 1/2 a gram per cookie and then increase the dose for the next time depending on how high i got. i overdid it once and it still gives me the willies thinking about it.

the stone does last longer but for me it's always more of a body stone. it's what some use for pain. i prefer the head stone of smoking/vaping.

if you're not seeing the exhaled smoke/mist, you're not doing it right. there is a school of thought that if you see the "smoke" that it's too hot. these people are idiots.

I think the same thing. Buzzes are different. I haven't gotten a really good buzz from brownies yet, I'll make them more potent next time. Takes so much to bake something though.

I'm still experimenting, but yeah, @ 390º I get a slight misty haze, definitely not "smoke", like from burning it, and I am slowly inching the heat up until I decide it's too much. But at the current setting it gives me a good little rush when I take a hit and hold it......Gawd I love weed.....

It tasted like a brownie but it didn't do much, I was surprised. Maybe I have built up a tolerance but I was disappointed. I cooked the ashes in veg oil for 4-5 hrs on low heat, just like normal. I then sifted the oil out overnight using a coffee filter. Then made the brownies. Then nothing.

How long have you had it? I've had mine 2-3 months and it's already not working as well as it originally did

update on my magic flight launch box portable vape: i bought new batteries and it works as good as new. the batteries must lose their ability to take/hold a good charge after a short while. the new ones work like a charm. i'm considering buying the plug in power adapter for it so i don't have to fuck with batteries.

so once again, i fully endorse the magic flight launch box portable vaporizer.
