It wouldn't scare them away. There were a few times where Hanson caught the same guy a second time.

Sex offenders are everywhere but not all of them are pedo. Attracting even one additional one into my neighborhood unnecessarily would put me up in arms.

They have no shame and it's a disease. They won't stop until they get their kid. Then move onto their next victim.
