Fuck, I don't know, just be glad you live in the Netherlands. Big cities and little ones both have advantages, but it does sound like #2 is already a negative place to you, so that seems like the worst choice.... I'm guessing you're a twenty-something??? It's easier to spread your wings now than it will be as you get older, at least from my own experience, so that's a factor.....
If it's going to be a big city, it's going to be on the outskirts or semi-bad area. The cost of living is crazy there.
No. I rent the place and don't own anything. I knew before hand that I'd have to move out within 3 years, but then again, the rent was ridiculously low. I paid like 250 bucks a month for a place that I was totally satisfied with.
Traveling is where it's at, yeah! :up2:
This is a fantastic post. Good eye-opener, thanks.
My name was supposed to be French fries with mayo but I was drunk when I signed up.
You can also just call me "Dick".

Get the fuck outta stagnant.
Stay the fuck outta depressing.
Friends will stay friends, no matter where you move, but new friends and new box is always good for a person.
That Dikkeman guy lives in the Netherlands. He's friends with a lot of people and probably has room for one more.
Yeah, man. I like the sunshine.
A bit of both. almost half of the land in the Netherlands is artificially created out of water. So the only natural thing that grows there is grass. Pretty much every tree you see around here is planted by humans. On top of that, it's an extremely densely populated country. This is why houses are small and land costs a friggin' fortune. Germany and France do have some beautiful landscapes.
We have some really cool shit going on over here, don't get me wrong, but for beautiful nature you need to go somewhere else.

#3 . I did that and it has turned out to be a great decision. Worst case scenario, you can always move back if you think you made a mistake.
What is the truth, what is the faithful lasting proof?
What is the central theme to this everlasting spoof?
#3--so long as you never move to Florida

At first I thought this would be a Dave Matthews tribute thread.
Do research as to where the market and jobs are good for what you do or want to do, move away from your current situation if you indeed feel this way. We as a people grow the most when we challenge ourselves the most, move away and make a clean go of it in a place where you can flourish.
