NPR is opinion and actual journalism. Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer, and he won't deny that he is entertainment. However much of Limbaugh's audience is convinced that they are getting real facts, opinions, and journalism rather than entertainment. NPR is not entertainment.

there is no left wing equivalent of rush limbaugh; it used to be howard stern, to a certain extent, and then Air America but in general, liberalism and radio are not compatible
