Will the full story ever come out, I wonder? We've been speculating like motherfuckers here for days now. If it was a case of asking Nick to pack his bags, I'd be indirectly upset (if I were Nick) at Artie just for being a reminder that likability trumps ability in the business. That being said, I always loved Nick's comedy, but on radio Artie has no peer. He's a master storyteller, and he has a huge blue-collar fan base. He's also got his book coming out in the Spring, and the plugging he'll be able to do for the show then will be considerable.

One time at the airport I listened to raw nerve and jack and coke back to back... I mean they can't even compare. Nick is the way better standup. But on radio, and in life, Artie is just the way funnier guy. Him as an ENTITY is funny. Whereas there isn't much funny about nick except for the fact that he's so miserable.

I never cared much for Artie as an individual, I always loved his sidekick roll, his random stories and one liners, he's also great with bits.

The real killer in this is the betrayal, Nick brought Artie back from the wilderness, now Artie fucks him in the ass without a rubber, sad.

The worst part now is planning my final post ever on dawgs come Monday, I gotta go out with a bang

I'd rather listen to the Artie Show(whatever that will be) than the Nick and Artie show. Nick will get paid anyway. I'd love to get paid for work I didn't do.
