Wow, so a confiscation of firearms when citizens need them most is bad, but Obama asking congress to have a vote on banning certain types of weapons is worse bubblery at its finest

U.S. military assisted in carrying out the order, which begs the question, can local law enforcement dictate an order like that to U.S. military? I'm not saying bush gave the order because I don't believe that, but I wouldn't be surprised if FEMA or the BATF had some role in it. I know they got their guns back, but taking all firearms from citizens trying to protect themselves in the ultimate crisis situation is fucked up--way more so than asking for a congressional vote on banning future sale of certain weapons(not that I agree with a ban)
