    Wow, back in the mid-90s I worked a block away from Taft on Ventura Blvd. One of the better academic and competitive sports schools in the entire LA district. Glad there were no fatalities.

    This was in the town of Taft which is just north of you in the San Joaquin/Central Valley. There's aton of farming, oil, and a federal prison around Taft.
