There has to be something besides sex for a serial rapist. Assuming they could get laid but actually prefer to get off by raping people.

I think it's one of those buzz word bullshit things that got completely out of control and took on a life of its own.

A more paranoid person might observe that it was a campaign to further neuter and emasculate men... Be careful, acting powerfully could lead to rape!!

Agree. I think I have an issue with the use of the word passion - I feel like using it in this way taints my interpretation of the word passion, which I have a lot of respect for.

Maybe a crime of desire? Hmm, tough one. That can imply power. A crime of desperately needing to get off but having clouded judgement for some reason.

I know what you mean about the word. I couldn't think of a better way to say it. I meant it the way they use it to describe unplanned murder.

The 'Rape' is the forcing of a desire,Hence it being a Power thing.

Most Rapist are known to there victims,Correct?...In this 'situation',the desire is there for a person they know.

Using physical force,Generating fear to make them comply.(And that is the Scum Bag move)

So the forcing is the power......irrespective of it being a sexual urge or urge from a position of Hate/anger.
