She's revolting. But the problem with her is not that she's unattractive, but that she writes herself nude into every scene possible. Her mindset of uber-shallow pointless life masquerading as "deep" in her series is also unappealing, though it's unclear if that's a commentary on how good or bad that lifestyle is.

I might be out to lunch here. I think the writing is great. I like these kind of shows because they remind me of my life before marriage, kids, and career. The same reasons I come here I guess.

He probably just realized Judd Apatow is the Producer. He probably also watched the 60 Minutes piece on Apatow where they label him one of the most powerful people in Hollywood.

I tried for the first couple episodes, I really did, but it depressed the shit out of me and I just couldn't relate to cast.

He bashed his wife, kids and movies. I remember thinking at the time that Howard was really out-of-touch and didn't realize how big Apatow is in Hollywood. Apatow apologized out of respect to Howard but I'm sure it left a bad taste in his mouth. Like "Girls" or not Lena Dunham is a talented young woman and for Howie to go after her like that is pretty tasteless. She's got more talent in her little finger than the "amazing one" has in her entire nipped, tucked, bleached, extension wearing, moose-like, attention whoring, photo-shopped body.
