I think what really happens is this:

Typical listener, listening to the fifth rebroadcast of the same shit show while driving, becomes lethargic and begins to drift and swerve. Soon thereafter, he is being followed by flashing lights and is forced to pull over.

I'm listening to some early 2001 shows.

the only time i ever did any thing like that was during the premiere of the bababooey "i want you back" tape. i was a ~18 years old gourmet cheese delivery guy (to high-end restaurants) and i literally parked the van on the side of the road in downtown san fransisico and sat and cried with laughter for about an hour as it ran.

that was a long, long time ago...so good though!
