Uh oh! Friend-of-The-Show-Kimmel needs to cut loose Howig as a bro. Then, and only then will he be able to beat King Leno.

I want to know what Howard REALLY thinks about Jimmy doing some of his bits on his late night show... like Sal and Richard's asking street people their opinion about stuff that didn't happen??
He's such a stickler for others stealing from him - wonder what he would love to say to his pal Jimmy??

Jimmy Kimmel is a better interviewer and has better bits then Leno and letterman. The problem is his monologues are brutally bad. I hope his girlfriend doesn't write it cause if she does he needs to get rid of her. And if there gonna get married then she's always gonna be there and Kimmy will always be b list late night
Jimmy's show was good when he had guest hosts in the 1st year of his show.
Remember when his show was suppose to be live
SNL isn't live to much of the country, too.
That was too hard to keep up and you wanted the shows to be uniform. Imagine having a different guest co-host on the Howard Stern show every week -- one week with Debbie the Pet Lady, then Evil Dave, then Medicated Pete.
The show would get annoying.
And yet, Kimmel couldn't beat Leno among young viewers.
Howard invented interviewing people on the street and making them look dumb.
That's all the viewers they get? 1 million? Why do networks make such a big deal over late night for a million viewers? So stupid. They pay them way too much for those shows.
He does. And Howard's hardcore fans are supremely loyal as are the haters. "If they hate him...why do they listen"? "To see what he says next". Opie and Anthony have more of a core fanbase than Kimmel, Leno, or Letterman. That's not an overstatement. They might have less total listeners but the amount of fans who listen every day across the year beat the network shows. South Park has this as well, between live views, reruns, on demand, and DVD sales.
Late night network shows were really powerful when it was all you could get. Now guys like Jon Stewart and Bill Maher destroy them in terms of the percentage of viewers who tune in to every show. Most Kimmel or Leno viewers watch casually and don't care at all what's going on. A Stewart or Colbert viewer will watch reruns as well. And Maher viewers pack stadiums for him when he tours.
The network talk show on late night is a dinosaur format. And two of the three big hosts are dinosaurs.
