Howard mentioned meeting Larry David at the airport, and losing his luggage shortly thereafter. He said he was angry when he got to the hotel and realized this -- certain that Larry David had his luggage.



This would make for a great Curb Your Enthusiasm episode. Larry accidentally gets Howard's luggage, can't resist the temptation to go through it, likes what he sees, and decides to try it on for himself. As soon as he steps out in public, he starts getting mistaken for Howard, and gets caught up in the perks of being Stern: He can complain and be as rude as he wants and people think he's being funny, he can can ask strange women to take their tops off, and he even starts to believe the wig looks appropriate on his face ...

didn't Howard say that he can afford a 2nd bathroom at a hotel? Doesn't that infer she had her own room? Most hotel's don't have an extra bathroom as an option like sending up a cot. Sure I've been in suites that had 2 bathrooms but there wasn't an extra charge for it. It came with the room.

Nice catch! I heard that this morning but really didn't think much of it until you pointed it out. Went back and listened again, he actually said it twice. "It must be in Beth's room. It wasn't in Beth's room".

I had a free room for one night once at Showboat Casino in AC and got upgraded to a suite. It has a half bath, a dining area, a wetbar area, a living room area and a bathroom with a tub shower and tv. And that was not a high end suite but it was very sweet. So I'm sure he can get a suite with two bathroom and two bedrooms, if so a normal couple would still sleep in one bedroom.

Plus he flies private so there really is no reason to lose his luggage.

Howard said the guy came walking over to him and he introduced himself as Larry David. Howard said that they shook hands and he knows that he's an awkward guy and he didn't know what to say himself.
