Hey Dink, can you really eat lemons? I cannot, love them as a side garnish or a splash of flavor, but no way can I eat them solo. Oddly enough my nephew can, one after another without ever wincing, but he is a marine.

The Plant breeders are making a big push in new fruit varieties with lower acid such as the Meyer. All Citrus is sub-tropical but many of you can grow Meyers because they require less heat units/hours and can witstand cool temps.

Here in the San Joaquin Valley there's a big boom in planting Mandarins & Pomegranates so the prices should be coming down soon.
