David Bowie premiers new WIG and new single!

Bowie just released his first new music in 10 years. I think it's a great song, but I'm a big Bowie fan. He seems to be sporting a new wig in the video too...it doesn't look terribly convincing. Still gotta love the Thin White Duke though!

I don't know about that. I think Bowie is just rattling off his old haunts from the years he lived in Berlin back in the 70s. I believe today is his 66th birthday, and he apparently released this video this morning...probably just a meditation on how old he is.

Thanks so much for posting - I love Bowie, too, so I wanted to see the video. I like the "mood" of the song but I wish it wasn't quite so slooow. I liked the way the video ends.

I really do love Bowie (no homo), but I'm telling you he wears some kind of wig or weave. Not that I give a shit...he's not putting anybody else down for it like Howard. Plus Bowie only slightly sold-out by releasing Let's Dance and Blue Jean; all of his other stuff is like top-shelf liquor. Especially the Berlin-era stuff with Eno.

I listened to Heathen the other day and was reminded how good it is...this song sounds like something that would have fit nicely on that album. I think his hair is real as I also don't remember ever seeing any evidence of thinning.

Always loved Bowie. I actually see him from time to time. He frequents Dean and Deluca in SOHO usually around 10:30 in the morning. Buys pastries and coffee. Only a keen eye would know it's him. He walks around with a cap on with a long coat and always has a very pleasant demeanor.(often smiling) Once in a while I see his wife there but oddly enough never together.He lives only a a block away on Lafyette street

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had trouble with a haunted pool. When I lived in Atlanta, I rented a house with a huge in-ground pool. One Saturday I get home from Boy Scout Camp Jamboree, and there is this 5' demon in shorts bent over the pool pump. Well, I commenced to yelling and hitting the demon with deck chairs, and he put up an awful fight. The demon's tools of evil were flying from his little demon tool belt, and he was screaming in Latin "Nomas! Nomas!" which I think means "Hell" so I just kept on swinging away.

I stayed away from the pool after that.
