The first amendment of the bill of rights makes that a federal statute so no state is allowed to overload (sorry I don't know the non-geek term for this off the top of my head) it in any way.

Imagine if a right wing paper or religious blog published the list of all women who had had abortions in the last decade. Or if they posted a list of gays and lesbians and encouraged their readership to harass them. Or if they posted the home addresses of abortion doctors and LGBT groups with the intention of having their viewers harass them. The uproar would be insane.

The hypocrisy of liberals knows no bounds. There is nothing wrong with owning a gun. There is nothing wrong with getting an abortion. One is a hobby or a tool for self defense. The other is a medical procedure. Both should be private and no one's business. But liberals only have it one way. Their way.

Funny how liberals whine like pansy fucking faggots when people harass law abiding abortion clinics or people out closeted gays. But out private gun owners? Harass them by publicizing their names and addresses? That's completely acceptable. There needs to be a Roe v Wade equivalent for gun rights in this country. Enough with state's rights raping the rights of the nation. Enough with state's rights overriding constitutional rights.

Gawker is literally as lunatic fringe as the God Hates Fags groups. Harassing people that they disagree with ideologically. Using anything to get publicity and page views and attention. It's a joke. Protesting the funerals of dead children and dead soldiers is literally as worthless to society as trying to shame law abiding gun owners.
