when i had four wisdom teeth removed i swallowed a gauze, i had a phillipino nurse with me afterwards and i couldn't explain to him i swallowed it and find out whether id be alright

he couldn't speak english properly and my mouth was completely numb

he just kept nodding and smiling

I prefer getting cavities filled vs a cleaning. I can't stand that metal hook scraping my teeth.

Plus my dentist doesn't use a metal scraper. He uses high pressure water to blast the garbage off of my teeth when I go.

I floss after every meal and last year was the first time I had cavities in my entire life. I had 3. I hadn't been to the dentist in about 5-6 years before last year. I thought I was invincible. I'm not making that mistake again. I now go every 6 months.

Having my teeth cleaned doesn't hurt, it's just that metal hook in my mouth is like nails on a chalkboard. I also started to use Listerine Cool Mint in the morning and right before I go to bed to help fight plaque.
