A Member Of The Brooklyn Nets Is Being Questioned In A Sexual Assault Case [UPDATE: It Appears It Was Andray Blatche]

Update (11:38 a.m.): A police source tells our Brian Hickey, who's based in Philadelphia, that the woman is an acquaintance of the player. The woman and the player's entourage remain at SVU giving statements.

Meanwhile, NBC Philadelphia reports that the Net was inside the hotel suite where the assault allegedly occurred, but he was not inside the bedroom. That report also states that police have taken the Net and two other men—a 41-year-old and a 25-year-old—into custody.

Update 2 (12:27 p.m.): The New York Daily News, and our own Brian Hickey, report that the player being questioned by police was Andray Blatche. Blatche, who has been fairly open about his various legal troubles, just tweeted, "Im ok and I didn't do anything jus was n the area when it happened." (That jibes with NBC's earlier report.)

A yet-to-air reality show documenting a rapper, who has fathered eleven children by ten different women, has been slammed by critics who have branded it 'disgusting' and 'negative'.
All My Babies' Mamas, set to air this spring on the Oxygen network, follows Carlos 'Shawty Lo' Walker, 36, as he navigates family life in an affluent suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

But after a preview of the one-hour, fly-on-the-wall hit the internet thousands of viewers called for it to be scrapped, with many suggesting it plays on racial stereotypes.

Does any player not have a tattoo? When I grew up tattoos were cool and only certain people had them, like guitar players and bikers. I'd feel like a cliche if I was one of 20 other guys on a basketball court who were all covered in similar looking tattoos. It's like everyone is competing to look like rappers who somehow just happened to end up on a basketball court. It's weird, it reminds me of all those talk shows where they set the stage up to look like they're in somebody's living room.

I remember an Mtv spot that Jim Carrey did with Chris Connelly for one of his films a while ago, and they had 2 directors chairs set up and behind them was this weird sort of fake jungle environment with palm trees. Jim started to rip the thing apart halfway through (underneath it they were in some cheap room in a Best Western or something) asking what the hell the producers were thinking.
