Not even Howard has faith in Shuli.

Bringing in Gary and Hein (even leaning on Medicated Pete for filler) has got to weigh on Shuli's mind to not even be considered for studio time. Its got to drive Shuli mental knowing that Howard doesn't believe in him to deliver. Thoughts?

    Shuli's not funny?

Well, Shuli's not funny, of course, but being not funny doesn't stop Howard from giving a person plenty of air time.

Howard's got his collapsing rump state of a compound that truly only exists in a long ago time but the power politics still apply. Think of the Forbidden City of the Empress Dowager of China or Hitler's bunker in those final days in 1945.

I think he put Shuli in the Artie chair (and that mysterious, never mentioned but still on camera extra writer) as a display of power against Benjy. I think he brought in Hein and Booey to fill in for Robin as a power play against Shuli. The compound must never forget that Howard needs none of them and only Howard is the puppet master.

As for the ubiquitous John Hein the only way I can figure his role is that since he's independently wealthy he practically donates his time to 112 Productions (if he, in fact, doesn't pay them for the privilege).

I think Shuli would be perfect for the Artie chair. Is that what we are talking about?

Good point, I hadn't thought of that before. Shuli thinks he's a real comedian and clearly thought the in-studio gig was going to be more of a regular thing than it turned out to be. Being passed over when they really needed someone to sub for Robin must have been embarrassing and a major reality-check for him.

What makes it even funnier is that Shuli is a "news" person... Howard wouldn't even let him in the studio to do that part of Robin's job.
    This is better than rejuvenation.

Shuli left his wife and kid in honor of Howard. Shuli says he is a dependable one. Shuli expected his loyalty to Howard would grant him the Artie chair. Shuli fails to realize that Howard does not give a shit about him nor anyone.

I sent at least 5 tweets to Howard asking him not to torture us with a guy who's a hack & came DEAD LAST in "Get John's Job."

Why didn't they bring him into studio when Jason was talking about weed and how Jason not smoking will impact him?

And the idiot stopped doing his regular Wednesday sit in on Jay Thomas show after Howard let him sit in that one week, hewill still do Jay's show on Friday on Howard 101, but not the show on Sirius stars2.

Shuli's now cracking jokes when people call into that urologist's show... making jokes about sick people and diseases??

He should call Robin and tell her some cancer jokes... I'm sure she'd love that.
