Howard made the whole situation WORSE by "explaining" it today. Ritalin Melt boiled it down in the listening thread: "so he wants the worse case scenario money without the worst case scenario?"

- Or as Howard put it, a "doomsday bonus."

Howard wanted a bonus if Sirius went under - well, guess what, buddy, the opposite happened (which he even admits) but he still wants his million dollar bonus!!

This really makes me question Howard's level of intelligence.

It's like demanding money from an insurance company for an accident or flood that never happened!!

Any competent lawyer would advise Howard to keep mum about the suit. In the past when Howard has been in legal wranglings he has kept shut about it while they were going on. (I.e. his tele pictures suit). So clearly either his lawyers are bafoons(very possible) or they are letting him spew his bs about the suit in hopes that he could get some public opinion on his side. (Another doubtful angle ).

Funny thing when he was ranting he went on to say something to the effect he got his $25 bonus and the judge felt he didn't get a second bonus. $25? I got the feeling he was trying to hide the true amount of money he is looking for in fear that would turn off anyone not familiar with the real amount and turn against Howard's plight.

An attempt to influence possible juries. I think he also does it to try and influence the other Party. He presents the situation as though there is no possible way that he can lose so they should stop wasting money on legal fees and work out a deal.

Howard could do great radio of this if he accepted his role as a villain.
