Man, we've been awash in bad games the past few days between the Wildcards and this. At least the Seahawks/Redskins game was dramatic.

Longtime ND fan here but kinda saw this coming so just kept my mouth shut and hoped for the best (and like you guys say a competitive game at the minimum).
I REALLY like what Nick Saban does with his 'process' philosophy (which is as much pointed at bringing in high character people and not taking shortcuts as it is talent evaluation, coaching, etc.) but he is one high strung dude...anyone stay on the game long enough to see him get apoplectic at the ref with 2 minutes left (nursing a 4 td lead)?!?!
Funny, this is ND's best season in 25 years and tonight set them right back into that 'over-rated' mold most college fb fans complain about w/ the irish
