No way.... I love when Dana Gould does his Huell impression on the Adam Carolla show.![]()
This is better than rejuvenation.

Fuck, I'm probably the only other person who cares about this. RIP Huell, thanks for being a huge creepy part of my childhood...
He came to my grade school in Arcadia and filmed my football game. NO ONE could rock the pink Polo and the mom jeans like the great Huell Howser. Fuck, I have to call my Mom now.
Oh, and thanks for posting that Poorman show link a week or so ago, JHIG. I had completely forgot about that.

Basically, he was a Tennessee guy who became a fixture on LA and California television by going to neighborhoods and interviewing people.
He was so positive, and basically everybody in TV liked him.
So much so that Matt Groening of The Simpsons created a character called "Howell Huesser" in his honor.
He also went around the state of California and filmed stuff.
It was just a cool, simple show, just him and a cameraman and a producer.
Here he is on the Golden Gate Bridge:
And people would parody him by making "Huell Howser's Tripping" video.

This sucks!!!
I'm really bummed to hear he passed away, loved his show. My fave episode was when he went to a low rider car show and interviewed all of these hard ass Messicans about their lowered Impalas, his scene with the kids and their low rider bikes was comedy gold.
BTW...was he gay? My gaydar went off everytime I heard him speak.
Always liked his show.
