we should have some kinda robin status thingy on the site. like "last heard from on 00/00/00".

when she dies, i wonder if howard will put sal on a robin soundboard. just need her annoying cackle, "i was just reading something about that", "i was just about to say that" for most of the show. sal and richard are pretty good at editing voice clips together, they could probably prepare a short news segment from old news each day. her reads were always sparse with details that usually ended with "...or something". she could never offer any info that wasn't on the short write-up her interns printed out. robin: "4 people were shot". howard: "any of them die?". robin: "hmm, it doesn't say here... i don't think it says...". howard: "why were they shot?. robin: "i think it was over some type of argument or something".

There's a Chinese restaurant in town that for a time was run solely by one Chinese lady. By that I mean she was the waitress, the busboy, the cook, the dishwasher and the manager. Her husband left her or some shit and she busted her ass trying to make it work, I guess she was scared of the Nike forced labor camps back in the old country (with good reason). I'm a hard working small businessman trying to make it work in an unkind world and even I can appreciate the gonads it took to keep something like this going for even a short period of time.

That is how many people live out here in the real world. Now contrast this with Blobbin, who is worth millions, lives in a fancy NYC apartment with a limo and a Range Rover. She is paid to read news that someone else compiled and she can't even fucking do this right.

It's a crazy world.

I liked the Breuer interview. Not Howard's questions or insights, which were fucking awful, but Jim's part of it was good. Howard asked if he(Jim) thought that his wife getting breast cancer was a blessing because she was flat chested before and now she is getting bigger boobs due to her double masectomy and Jim sounded surprised and said emphatically, "NO!" I felt bad for Breuer.

The Breuer interview was good until the money grubbing jew started asking questions about medical expenses for Jim's wife and father. It doesn't have to always be about money when family is involved. Their health is the top priority.

after today, i think you're right. only someone who has utter contempt for his listeners would inflict today's show on anyone who was unfortunate enough to hear it.
at one point, medicated pete (who next to bobo is the most unpleasant creature in the howard universe)was on 100 and 101 at the same time.

i would rather listen to hours of beth babbling about fashion and animoes than be subject to MP. everything about him is repulsive.

I was a listener for 20 years and when they broke for Xmas I realized I didn't miss the show anymore. So I haven't listened since they came back from holidays. Seems I have missed nothing at all but old tired bits and old tired guests. I mean really.. how many times can you have Jim Bruer on in a year.. ya he's funny but not worth several appearances. No "A" listers come to the show anymore.. it's over Johnny.
