    The channel 9 show

I've never seen any episodes. Is it still funny, or is it dated? I like early and mid 90's Stern shows, but the really old 80's WNBC stuff isn't as funny as those I think. It's just too old.
My name was supposed to be French fries with mayo but I was drunk when I signed up.

You can also just call me "Dick".

That's how I got into Stern. My dad used to let me stay up late and watch it with him.

I still have the memory of some huge tittied stripper pressing her tits in cement from when i was like 9 years old.

Haven't seen them in forever, though.

    Watch for yourself.

    Every episode is posted here.

Or type "Howard Stern Channel 9 Show Episode" into Youtube, plus the episode number.

Richard Simmons was on with a bunch of fat people. Think it was Jackie that lowered a chicken from a fishing pole. Simmons got so pissed.

Howard at his best. Loved that show, still do. Hilarious. It's amazing to see the sad state of his show nowadays, going out in a whimper instead of on top..

One of the best Stern projects outside of the radio show. Still holds up today. One of the reasons Howard still has a good legacy as an entertainer.

I agree...we used to watch those shows over SNL...in fact those shows made SNL look lame by comparison. I think that was Howard's best work. Great sketches, great guests, classic bits. Good times.

The E Show was just the best video from the week of the radio show. Some radio shows like Imus do a simulcast, but Howard's show was more tightly produced and you only got the best hour (minus commercials) of each show.

The E! show was good when they showed comedy bits that were on the radio and when Stuttering John was in the studio but the celebrity interviews were boring which was what a lot of the E! shows were.

I remember we would all come home from the bar to catch the show. Those were good times.

Howard's too cheap to buy his own show, even though he has a billion dollars

It's way overrated, dated and did we mention it was 20+ years ago.
The above is strictly my humble opinion.

Howard was never funnier than during the WOR shows.
