Three Product Placements In The First 30 Minutes

I was just reading through the Marksfriggin rundown for toady and within the first 30 minutes of the show Howard wove in ads for Zero Dark 30, the iPad Mini and Belkin cases for tech products. He's just going to keep using the show as a nickel and dime commercial zone as his way to get back at Sirius for their "mistreatment" of him.

Hopefully Malone catches Stern making unauthorized side marbles....and FIRES him!

BTW...I am listening to lots of 2001 stern shows...Howard has always been a greedy lazy liar selling us shit disguised as random spontaneous conversation. He is now just so horrible at it.

Do you really believe that those mentions you posted were commercials?

Im not convinced they were, but if they are he is worse than the guy who sells pencils at the county carnival...

Cause think about it, would Apple really need to advertise at all much less stern who is considered so offensive...

also Belkin....

The movie maybe but its so popular who needs to advertise for it anyways........

As Nemo said he's been doing this a long time, he's just gotten less creative about it. There's a deposition on The Smoking Gun that Howard gave where he admits to weaving ads into the show content. I think that goes all the way back to the 90's. As far as major companies purchasing these ads, it's not the companies themselves it's marketing companies that are given blocks of cash by companies for use in advertising. So, in essence, Howard isn't lying when he says Apple doesn't pay him, they don't directly pay him, some marketing guru with a couple million to spread around on radios ads is. It's the same thing as when you see Corn Flakes on a TV show, Kellogg's isn't doing that, a advertising/marketing company is.

In the radio business its called "Payola" and many people have been arrested for it...

If he does this which I am kind of thinking is true its amazing he hasnt been sued by SiriusXM for it, since he is taking "their" money they could really have with advertising and

Of course he's getting paid by Apple but he's found a loophole way of lying about it.

Howard heard it was amazing awhile back.
He says that a few times.
Over the vacation Stern tweets that he is now watching it....it is amazing!
100/101 begin to run commercials for it.

Sometime Howard is the only one that likes a show or a movie.
He battles and wins the war with others in the studio about how amazing something is.
The show or movie runs commercials on 100/101...the star of movie or show appear on Howards show.
....6 months later Wiggy claims he hated it or never even watched it....
