I think another way to ask the question would be what if there is between a 1-3% chance that Al Gore is right, and rising sea levels could flood all u.s. coasts in 50+ years, shouldn't we at least be doing something? In 50 years al gore will be dead and likely the govt will get half or more of his trillion dollar estate.
