The plot would be based around a World War II, all-black regiment in the American military, who rise up against their white commanders.


According to Tarantino, the black regiment, who feel oppressed by the white leadership, will go on a warpath killing white soldier and officers.

I'm sorry, I know people on here will give me shit for it, but I think Quentin Tarantino is the most over rated film maker of his generation. He just rips off old spaghetti westerns, film noir and samurai movies while incorporating down on their luck former A-listers that audiences want to root for. I give him credit for having watched a large number of great movies made by other people, but he's a hack with a ham fisted racial agenda.

Also, Tarantino was helped early in his career by David Lynch, and then shit all over him as soon as Lynch's Twin Peaks movie bombed "After I saw Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me at Cannes, David Lynch had disappeared so far up his own ass that I have no desire to see another David Lynch movie until I hear something different. And you know, I loved him. I loved him." Do yourself a favor and don't buy the hype, he's the serious film equivalent of Adam Sandler.

Quenton hasn't made anything great since Jackie Brown. Kill Bill II was good. Kill Bill I was mediocre. Basterds was horrific.

The more the guy gets "fuck you" money, doesn't have to compromise his vision, can do whatever he wants, the worse his movies will get. It happens. Writer-directors who have a ton of money don't hire editors to say "no." They hire editors to say "yes."

Exactly. He's only done two good movies-Reservoir Dogs & Pulp Fiction. I remember watching those movies when they were released in the early nineties thinking, wow,I can't wait to see what he follows up Pulp Fiction with. I remember watching Jackie Brown thinking this is how a pimp would direct a movie. That was when I figured out he was a true wigger hack. How about the interviews where he puts on his blackccent?
