In early October, Howard bet caller Dan from Chicago 1,000,000.00 USD that he would be getting a "raise" for a 2nd season of AGT.

During the Howie Mandel interview last month, it was unveiled that the bet was a lie to begin with: Howard was only pretending that NBC was courting him again while he had a 2nd year on the table all along.

Even if that's true (it hasn't been proven), it's a 100% scam on Howard's part.

Here's what he said to Dan in October:

Howard: If the ratings went down because of me, I don't think they'd call me back. I'm an expensive hire.

Dan: Were they going to pay you 15 million?

Howard: There's been no mention of a salary cut to me, they say they want me back!

This is a bald lie. He's pretending that there was something to renegotiate after last season. Not only was there no renegotiation necessary - but Howie Mandel specifically stated that NBC doesn't even bother negotiating with returning judges until well after the holidays.

Like Howard would ever reveal his contract to anyone. If he could get a million out of it he probably still wouldn't do it. Cant reveal any secrets , you know.
