I liked the rough gritty Artie version.
Those were my favorite HSS days
when they all had to sing and made fun of Robin's voice!![]()
She is a trouble maker. How would you like to be the other two in the band putting up w/ her shit? I wouldn't and she said she really doesn't want to go tour w/ them this summer but as Stern pointed out they have to if they want to make some money.
That band was on the top of the world and it was "she" who fucked it all up. The other two backed her up b/c they had to after they got sweep up in that bullshit.
She certainly looks to be a thorn in a lot of folks behinds. And what was that shit about Gary not getting Stern a present? She's a trip.

Isn't it interesting how Howard always blasted Country, he's insulted everything about it and that the singers, songwriters, and musicians have no talent. Not to mention the millions of fans that buy and listen to it. And he never ends about people that destroy their careers like Jackie, Mel Gibson and a few others.
Then this cunt shows up after making millions doing hillbilly style country and then pulling off the most monumental destruction of a superstar career that anyone has seen in generations. She has nowhere else to go, so she attaches herself to bullshit extreme causes, and suddenly is a huge Howard Stern fan. Guess who Howard's new best friend is? And she is suddenly so talented too!![]()
why must other "singers" and "musicians" feel they need to try pink floyd? leave their songs alone, some songs just don't need to be remade and floyd's are one of them!

Well, I understand. You're kinda flying off the handle with an insult because I stated that you were sensitive. But, anyhoo, I found her comments somewhat innocuous. I would agree that she might not fully grasp that statements made by public figures are not without consequence, but I do not agree that she "deserved" it.

It depends on what the "consequences" are.
"I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." You should give this quote some serious thought.
A lot of people think freedom is just whatever makes them feel safe. For people who only want security, real freedom is challenging, uncomfortable and threatening. It's not for everyone. I think there's a group of people out there now who confuse "our country" with "our government", which is sad because that's the point when you lose.
The government is just a group of public servants hired to do a job - a job that is prone to corruption and needs to be monitored like a child molester at a day care center, with criminality being met with the most severe prosecution. It's as simple as that. The "country" is we the people and the constitution. If you think Natalie questioning the government (which has become so corrupt that it hardly bothers to lie anymore since it assumes people are too dumb or scared to face the truth) is unpatriotic then you should despise yourself, not her, because you let a bunch of greedy, corrupt half-wits scare you into giving up your rights and the power to think for yourself. Either that or gtfo.

Well, apparently, the step father had some type of pocket knife or exacto knife or somethin' like that and the step father offhandedly gave the knife to one of the producers or directors of the film and, on their own, they had the knife analyzed and it contained blood that wasn't the same as the step fathers. HBO executives ordered them to return it to the police, which they did, but like a month after they were supposed to.
And Maines' point is/was valid. In most cases of murder, you're murdered by someone you know and her point was that the case was terribly managed, an opinion supported by one of the defendant's attorneys, who is now a judge.
The crime scene wasn't preserved the way it should have been. The bodies were moved before (2 hours or so) before the coroner arrived. there's conflicting statements (some of which were recanted) by witnesses who at first made damning statements against the West Memphis 3.
Evidence wasn't preserved in the right kind of bags.
Seems like the case was just horribly handled. Also, one of the defendants was questioned for more than 12 hours but only about 45 minutes of the "interview" was recorded.
Clusterfuck of a case.
You are what's wrong with America. You value free speech then get pissed off when someone uses it. She was very tame IMO. If everyone thought like you we wouldn't have people like MLK, Bradley manning Julian assange etc. thank god we have people with strong opinions. We would already be living in 1984 if you had your way.
Eighties baties
She's just alright. Landslide was a great song to begin with. She just brought it to a new audience. Having her in the studio was a vast improvement compared to the regular players.
The Pink Floyd song..whatever. Seems like she is trying to stay cool.
