Seriously though. While Gary should be eternally grateful to Howard for providing him with a lifestyle he never would have achieved otherwise, there is no need to get a billionaire a gift that he likely wouldn't appreciate and would mock anyways.
The constant slobbering of being Howard's yes-man and ego booster should be enough

While I give him kudos for NOT getting him something, I have to say he could've given him a nice bottle of his favorite wine (even tho he's not drinking anymore..??) or made a contribution to North Shore Animal League, in Wiggy and Beff's name?
I don't blame him, though... the way Howard treats people and their gifts is APPALLING. NO humor there whatsoever. I've NEVER laughed at him making fun of a staff worker's attempt at a gift, throwing stuff in the trash, humiliating people for what they've chosen to give him... so for Gary to NOT do it, I get. And respect him just a smidge for it.

As much as I hate to say Benji did something funny, when he gave Howard the little black child it was hysterical. Can't remember if it was birthday or Xmas gift.
