I've been checking it every week to see if either of my cats were found. There are FIFTEEN cats listed as missing, in my area - and these are just the people who bother calling the human society, to list them in the paper. I didn't, and neither did any of my neighbours when theirs went missing.

We either have a fucking obscene amount of well-fed coyotes, or some sick fucking bastards.

*sighhhhhhhhhh* I had my cat for 8 years, King. I tried keeping him indoors...but do remember that I live in the country, and have 2 little boys that go in and out, all day. I just stopped fighting him. My daughter's cat was a barncat. He only knew the outside, though I was successful at keeping him in for 3 days.

My dog only goes out into my fully fenced in backyard, or on a leash.

Why the need to keep brow-beating me about something I already feel so horrible about?

I just stopped fighting him. My daughter's cat was a barncat. He only knew the outside, though I was successful at keeping him in for 3 days.

I just can't even being to think about my cat being outdoors and what could possibly happen to him. I'm always careful to make sure he's nowhere near the door when I'm entering or leaving. He used to be a "door dasher" when I first adopted him, but he's learned since he's not to be anywhere near the main entryway.

PERFECT description. I can't even COUNT how many times a day I yell at the boys to shut the door, and quit going in/out...I accept that I failed. I will not be getting another cat.
