I would think a bunch of witnesses would make her recollection of it not matter. The consent thing sounds like it would be the biggest problem to get a guilty verdict from.

Rape cases are rough. Even with physical evidence so much comes down to testimony and the victims (true victims) just get brutalized all over again. Gotta have a kick ass report and if there is a confession of some sort everything has to be articulated perfectly or it all goes to shit (and still likely will).

It seems like there is some confessing and premeditating going on with those facebook and twitter postings. No "rights being violated" getting that info so with some cooperation from the victim and a witness or two I would think there'd be enough to go to trial at least. Prolly be able to get one of the lesser scumbags to roll pretty easy as well.

You can't consent in her (alleged) condition so proving that aspect should be a slam dunk. In theory. Sounds like the biggest issue is the surrounding corruption.
