There's more to it than you think. Number one, the two new rules were added not to address Kanye and Chriza posting here but to address issues that mostly affected the bar. The kind of posting they were doing here is acceptable in the bar so a solution of restricting their access to the Stern Forum made the most sense, but to carry out that ban required an admin who had the ability to change their profiles. So I was simply offering a way for people to post threads that wouldn't be trolled in the interim.
