jesus christ this is a stupid ass point
Ok, Howard. Since you're certain, I'm sure you have numbers to back that up. Please show them to us.
The above is strictly my humble opinion.
If you ask a group of people about Dave Letterman, they'll be aware he still does a show.
If you ask that same group of people about The Pelican, they'll say, "he still does a show?"
Have derision, will travel

Yes, and a small percentage of those XM listeners paid for the Sirius package that includes Howard. The numbers have been quoted here before. Way more people chose not to take the Sirius package. Howard wants them credited as his subscribers as well. This is the basis for the lawsuit. Howard wants credit for all SiriusXM subscribers and Sirius only wants t credit Howard for those that actually are able to listen to him.

And how many listens are multi-subscribers? I bet a significant portion of the listeners have two or more subscriptions. Are we really counting each person who has multiple subscriptions are more than one person? I have three subscriptions (I started subscribing long before Howard announced he was moving to Sirius.
You gotta realize that most of Howard's remaining superfans are mindless lemmings who believe anything Howard and his gang tell them. They believe this BS.
Seriously, if Howard had 10 million listeners a day, the AGT ratings would have skyrocketed this past season. Both AGT and the Stern Show have very different demos. So the likelihood of a significant majority of Stern listeners being also AGT viewers prior to Howard joining was probably negligible. With Howard joining, you gotta think that at least 30-50% of his listeners would have watched at least the first few episodes of both the start of the season and the start of the live shows. If his listenership was 10 million a day, it should have more than offset the loss of AGT loyal viewers who were turned off by Howard and the natural yearly drop off of the show. He should have added at least 3-5 million new viewers and the season ended down 20%. Do anyone really think that without the new Howard viewers to AGT, the show would have dropped 40-60% in viewership?
I think the remaining "fans" of the show (meaning folks who still think Howie is bringing the funny) are folks who are either blind, or think that current dressed in black Howie is still edgy, so if they are fans, they must be edgy too. That recent stern fan award show clip hosted by fat housewives pretty much confirmed it for me (even the fat dude looked like a housewife).
I still think there has to be a class action suit around that horrible hardware they sold.
There actually was a class action suit involving lifetime subs and broken hardware, but it was only in one state. I can't remember which one. There was also a class action suit in the same state relating to Customer Service calls, and if you tried to cancel during a certain time period you were entitled to about $500. Again though, it was only in one state.

and so many callers ... let's go to Bobo
