Having Gary/John Hein in the "Robin" chair is typical Wiggy insecurity. MrPluggo could have put Sal in the studio and had a great show today.. But no. Its PC Howard. Sal is to unpredictable "racist".

I would've liked to have heard Howard handle the show "alone," or at least without John and Gary filling in for Robin, and without the Bigfoot Jr schtick. After all, he regularly boasts that he alone is the show, and that the only thing he needs to do an interesting show is a microphone. It would've been the worst show he's ever done, but I still would've liked to have heard it.

They had BigFoot Jr. but he didn't say much, at least when I heard the show. Why have him there if you aren't going to use him.

When I turned on the show this morning about 20 minutes into the show I was thinking hmmm, the show sounds good today. What is different. I didn't realize Robin wasn't there until the Natalie Maines interview. And the only reason I noticed was because there wasn't constant interruption during her segment.

He has never done the showman alone. Whenever Robin has been out he has had someone else there to fill in...Jackie, Fred, in the terrestrial days, I think he even had Dee Snider once. There were a few times Howard was out, back in the day before they ran best of shows, and Robin did it alone and had "the boys" fill in for Howard...one time she had Robin Leach (sp?) sit in for Howard. what I remember the most about these shows is that both Robin And Howard sucked without each other being there. Howard just rambles on and on about himself and Robin cackles even more than usual.
