I MISS THAT SHIT! I stopped listening every day after the divorce but stopped completely when Jackie left. I don't know the Artie years. A friend gave me a Sirius thing for my car about a year and a half ago so i subscribed and was immediately turned off by the new wack pack and new staff ( new to me). I cancelled my subscription when Howard pissed on his fans. The show was so bad. I was depressed listening to it.

That being said, i would pay to hear complete shows starting from the beginning and unedited. I think i may listen to this clip again! Hey Now!

Reading the stuff on MarksFriggin and on here, it's definitely clear that Howard is beyond in love with himself and has entered stages of Mancow-like delusions and immaturity (well, almost, but he's really insane!). The fact that losing the lawsuit and suffered abysmal ratings with AGT hasn't knocked him down a peg means his God-like complex is indestructible.

He even attacked the gang for not giving him gifts yesterday and today. He's that insane.

Hopefully those reading this who might've been aware of Howard Stern in his "shock jock" days realize what an amazing career he's had, and the profound maturation he's undergone during his decades on air. He is truly media royalty to his millions of fans, whose loyalty he has earned by providing 4-5 days/week of amazing radio with some of the best interviews of celebrities, business leaders and government elites - not to mention strippers, porn stars and normal, everyday Joe's. If you didn't grow up listening to Stern, it might be tough for you to understand his resonance with so many dedicated listeners (many of whom have probably become fans of A's.G.T!), but I wish you could. I never cared *that* much for his puerile potty humor, but christ, his broadcast during 9/11, and even his interview w/ Gov. Spitzer's mistress (lol) ... that was amazing radio and I don't look forward to his inevitable retirement. Do yourself a favor - listen to his new material while you can!
