As one of the few major hardcore listeners from back to the early 90s, I've been listening intently for years, I can list a few decent Benjy moments. You've got to remember, Benjy is not Jackie...or John....or KC even. But he's done a few funny things over the years. Not enough to warrant him sitting in on the show all morning though.

- He once made a New Year's Resolution to make more phony phone calls. It was within 2002-2004 that the show opened that year with like a dozen prank calls that Benjy made to the news. They were pretty funny.
- Benjy once went a rally against violence and became out of control screaming against violence. It was a ridiculous bit. Maybe from 2004. He followed it up with a terrible bit about him taking over a poetry slam reading about a TV microwave dinner.
- Benjy did some hilarious things with the weight loss contests. He lost like 30lbs in a week once. He never revealed how he did it. The look on everyone's face when he weighed in 30lbs less or whatever in one week was hilarious.
- Benjy once ate out a stripper at a bachelor party, maybe a Score's party, and they all talked about it on the air.

That's all I can think of. I could list like 500 things of Jackie or John. And at least 30 or 40 great KC moments.

There is nothing Benjy has said or done that is even remotely funny. Pathetic yes... funny? Ahhhh.. No. Benjy is comedy cancer, he is the fucking kryptonite of comedy. I have never laughed at his shtick on the show or wrap up show. And mark my words, when Howard retires Benjy is in for a SERIOUS fucking wake up call. There are hundreds of skilled Harvard and Yale-educated comedy writers out there who shit funnier.

The only reason he has the job he does is he's cheap, and Howard doesn't have the balls to fire him.. because Howard knows it will basically put Benjy into line at the soup kitchen.
