Did you ever hear Gary say to Howard "JD page 4 in red" for a clip to play? The guys' computers link to a server where they keep media content to play on air. The server software is called Prophet (or Profit or some spelling like that). Fred made his bones as king of the sound drops using tapes and carts.

If you ever catch the first few Howard TV episodes when they first got to Sirius you can see how surprisingly (at least to me) befuddled Fred was by the whole thing.

I don't dislike Fred, quite the opposite I'm just like him, I just don't care anymore.

The fake tough guy act got me to question his sanity.

At first I thought he is this laid back guy who is above all "fronting" (as KOAB would say), but now I have come to think that he believes he is the radio persona Pluggy created for him (a super-smart and dangerous man of mystery, instead of an average intellect but lovable bore).

Fred is the least of the HSS's problems. I think in the show's prime, he was a real virtuoso with the sound drops. It was every bit as creative as anything he and Jackie wrote. With the new, evolved Howie, he clearly has has his hands tied as far as what drops he can use as to not offend the mainstream and hurt Beff's chances with the Hollywood/Hamptons elite. As a result, he's just become invisible.

The only time I ever notice him is when MaryAnn from Brooklyn calls. Then Fred plays the crow sound effect so much I can't hear what she is saying.

I started disliking him when he stopped being able to take a joke. Like when everyone in the studio would jokingly rip on each other with very personal things but if anyone said one little thing to him, he would get very serious, very defensive, and very mean. Alison must live in constant fear of "setting him off."

Right away. He's dull, doesn't say shit and when he does it's whining about them picking on him.

    Fuck him.
