Holy shit are you mistaken. Ask any expert and it isn't the question was Butkus the best Bears linebacker ever but the best all time nfl linebacker.

I have a really good friend that works at the local ESPN radio station. He has an afternoon show and also does color for the Cowboys radio broadcast. Did I mention that he is also a retired NFL player? Anyway, I called him and asked him who he thought was the best middle linebacker in the Bears history. He said Singletary. Then he said Bronko Nagurski was second.

Find film of Bronko. What you have to use to gauge him is sports writers and the scattered stats they used. Other experts and retired NFL players would say Butkus. Guess we will have to debate which expert is better first.
