Hey Doc, happy 2013! You have great chop skills, but a ketchin' (or 2) if I might on the "comix"...
Were you approached by THSS to do them? Do you wish you had better source material to work with?
What are your thoughts on the current state of the show? I thought they would come out of the gate quickly with some good bits this year (backlog of "new writing" to execute), but wasn't the case. Do you still like THSS as much as you did in the '90s/early 2000s?
This thread is cracking me up! When I was engaged I used to bust my wife about She Ra being the hottest chick on TV. She went out and bought me a She Ra figure one Xmas who I then used to make my own photo cartoon using her and the 2 lbs lobsters we had for dinnerOysters on the half shell were no match for her staff once the hot sauce was applied...
I tossed her in with the decorations and would bust her out every Christmas for years after. Those old polaroids gotta be around here somewhere damnit!
The above statement is being made of my own free will. This site neither condones nor agrees to anything I post but for my right to post what I feel.
Listen, Mutt has tools at his disposal....Apoc even said so.
Happy to answer...

Jason was always a fan of my chops and when I did the occasional comic he praised and let me know that my work was a hit in the office. The Stern Show ComiX were born from this and are designed to reflect what happened on the live show that week. Unfortunately I am fairly limited to work within the images available on Howard Stern.com for legal purposes. Any image posted on Howard's site has to have his approval... apparently he approves.

I've answered this many times and am happy to again. The "Golden Era" of the show is behind us. Billy West, Jackie, Artie are no longer with the crew and Howard is clearly getting ready to walk away (and he should if he is finished with the show). I still listen every day and I laugh many times during this but there are things that I don't find funny - but that was always the case. I've never completely agreed with Howard on many things but the show is still better than anything else on the radio and I'll be here until he retires.
I dare you to drop a bunch of acid while watching The Snorks before you claim that He-Man is the best cartoon from the 1980s.
