I'm the biggest David Lynch fan you'll meet, and even I have to admit I cringe when he mentions TM, let alone the Wig. The whole thing is a racket, leaning on being a cult, that takes the money of celebrities in exchange for making them feel better about themselves. It's basically Scientology Diet.

the charity event was about raising money and awareness to have TM for school children. that's more fucking retarded than robin's charity about poor black kids making movies. there's a long list of essentials schools are lacking the funding for and TM does not make the list. they asked howard to come out and say a few words and then introduce ringo starr and he said he would. but when he got there, he found out it was being filmed and wouldn't consent. i assume he had to call don and since he wasn't getting paid for the footage, he told howard to decline. since they couldn't use him in the film, they had to have someone intro ringo. howard still went on stage and retold his mom's TM story for the billionth time.

Exactly. He was up close and hanging with everyone who has bold-lettered names. Like they would be thrilled to have him and Beff at a 'dinner party' with them. Not a thing in common with any of them. A-List and No-listers must have made for fabulous conversation. The Sterns are way too weird, name dropping and self-important.

The whole thing is unlikely, if not a right-out lie. Just what we expect from him.
My favorite part was when he said he had to go back to NY because of needing to prep for the show!
