    It tastes so freaking decadent.

For the most part, I couldn't agree with you more, but his grilled cheese method and the fact that he discourages people from buying specialized kitchen equipment are two things that don't make me totally want to rail on that meticulous bastard.

Yes, almost any cheese at room temp is excellent.

you know, he says that he hates "unitaskers" and specialized equipment, but then he buys stupid shit like a dinosaur headed spray bottle and that's super gay and a waste of money. i also hate how he says "uh" all the time and he refers to normal eggs as "chicken eggs" all the time. yes yes, we get it.

i did like how he built his own smoker box though.

The Mlaw if I recall is Pumpernickel, Turkey, Pastrami, Hot Cherry Peppers, and Horseradish Sauce(made my own). Seriously, dink, its a "thinker's sandwich" every bite was to be contemplated, meditated upon. Eating it was a really good experience, like when you go to a fancy restaurant and have a really awesome chef bringing stuff out to you.

    Room temperature cheese.

When I was living in Europe people left cheese plates out for days. It just tasted better and better.
One of then many traditions I brought home with me.

sounds delish. i may add those ingredients to my next shopping list. have some dark rye and turkey now, but need the rest. good call making your own horseradish sauce. there are a few decent kinds on the market, but most isn't very wonderful. can't wait to try it.

If I cook a grilled cheese in my Cuisinart griddler (panini press), I find it comes out too flat. I prefer to make them in the broiler oven instead, even though it takes longer.

Dude, try it or at least a facsimile of it. She knows how to create a damn good sandwich.
