Yup; apparently the GOP first wanted to force the bill back to the Senate, but the Senate told them to fuck off. If the House sends it back to the Senate the Dems said they would not reconvene which would have caused all the negotiations to start over with the new Congress.

The GOP decided to postpone their spending cuts fight till the bill is revisited in 2 months.
