I just watched the entire episode of Chappelle on Actors Guild and he sounds very normal and definitely sane. After his father died, he re-examined his life and decided that show business was consuming all of his time and making him miserable. He decided to take off to South Africa for a while where no one knew him and he could regain normalcy in his life. He's since moved back to the Ohio town where he grew up and is spending time with his family. He does want to get back to work on his terms. I dig Chappelle.
