    Direct-TV

    N&A on Direct-TV is pretty F'n awesome.

The editing on the replays seems very professional and the "look-ins" are great.

Yea, the show production is quite good, the bands quite bad. It's nice to have it on the dvr waiting if I get home late or when I wake up the next morning.

Dish and DirecTV raise their prices every year. This year is no different.

There is eating going on. However, the look-in with Mike B. singing "Sweet Home Alabama" is amazing.

Yea, because cable sends you flowers and puppies every year. At least quite a few years ago when I switched, it was a decent amount cheaper and I got more (plus I have it for the NFL package).

I have DirecTV. I was just saying price goes up every year. I can't even get cable where I live out in the boonies.

Hey, at least you can get it. I live in such a rural area that you can't get DirecTV because of the high tree lines around my property. My options were cable or free, and I just went with cable internet and have a tv antenna and an FTA dish. I get more than enough tv on hulu and Amazon Prime; I just wish DirecTV would develop some sort of streaming package with N&A and I'd be set.

They used have satellite internet service for remote locations. Not sure if it's still available.

It is, but it's only twice the speed of dial up - it sucks. I have cable Internet, the local cable company's prices are just too ridiculous for TV, so I have the antenna and FTA dish instead (along with streaming services, hulu and Amazon Prime). DirecTV and Dish are idiots though, they have a new policy where you can only have a dish mounted on your roof if you have a EDIT: shingle one (I accidentally said metal). I have a tile roof, so they would only put it in my yard (I have a 60 ft. antenna tower, but they said they weren't allowed to put it on that). I only pay $50 a month for my internet, $16 a month for hulu and Amazon combined, and have more than I would want to watch. BUT, I want to support N&A, and I would have gotten DirecTV for it, were they not so stupid about installation that they can't get a signal in the Appalachian foothills. There is actually a lot of free satellite TV out there, check out http://www.ftalist.com/master.php

There must be someone, with a connection to N&A show, that can help tSAM with his Direct-TV installation.

If this board can help solve real N&A fan issues (like Direct-TV install with hopefully a free MLB package for the first year) then life is good. Let's make life good for 1 N&A fan.

If RfB can solve this problem then I am his biggest fan. Come on Rob (or Will if you still stroll through this place).

The best package on directv is a 5dollar/month one that has mgm, hdmovie, smithsonian, palladia that plays concerts and music films, and some other channels - I just found out about it a couple months ago and there is a bunch of good shit on it - I watch movies on it more than I do on hbo and it's a third of the price, plus smithsonian channel is tits, it's like how history and discovery (and tlc way back in the day) before they started showing retards all day long

Hey Kev, I got one of those $200+ Cox bills and that is what lead me to Direct-TV (or rather my excuse to get N&A on TV).

I recommend you call your service provider and ask for someone in the "customer loyalty" department (that is what Cox Cable calls it). They are the ones to give customers a deal.

I called after turning in my HD box (the lady at Cox that took my hardware told me about it).

I got got my internet cut by over 40% in price over the next year.

I did the same with Sirus and XM. I started out, in both cases, telling them to cancel my service. Then I settled on paying for a 1 year deal, with iphone app, for 1/2 price.

    Good luck and keep posting!

i always get that HD package for 3 months free, then forget to cancel it,,,,,,,but i rarely watch those channels. i'm hoping they don't start charging for Audience channel....i see on bill it says $0/month. i do like HBO for Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire , and maybe a few other shows, otherwise movies for most part suck. and i tend to get Stars for free at 3 month clips too.
