Yeah, I wanted to do that one but didn't make it out there. My friend sent me an email about this one a couple months back so I decided to do it.
Im a big time advocate.
my son was in the NICU for a week when he was born (he was a month early, had to be on a ventilator because his lungs weren't fully developed). I had to pump and supplement with formula because he wasn't getting enough. I pumped for two months because he wouldn't latch and kept pumping months after that to up my supply.
now everything is fine and he breastfeeds like a pro and I put my pump away months ago.
lots of moms give up early but I was determined to stick it out because I feel it is so important.

Glad to hear the little guy is ok. I spend a lot of time in NICUs for work. I can't imagine what it be like to be there to visit my own child.

I can't imagine the babies that are there for months. One week seemed so long. Getting discharged from the hhospital after having a baby and going home without him sucked. The people who worked in the NICU were awesome!
