So I got kicked out of the "American girl doll" Store in Manhattan yesterday

Yeah I know I said I would not post here again but thought I'll share my story.. Last year my kid got a American girl doll for Christmas.. I know they go for some money (over$100) but sometime you have to bite the bullet and just deal with it... So yesterday me the wife and the kid went to Manhattan to the mecca American girl doll store on 5th ave.... It was a mad house... Anyway I was looking at the prices and was gobsmacked on how much this crap cost... After closer examination I noticed everything was "Made in china".. 2 things hit me.. 1:American girl doll and all Accessories are made in china and 2: the outrageous prices .. This got me really fucking mad.. and no where the store is located(5th ave) didn't change the prices of this crap... I first started asking store staff is anything in the store was USA made.. the answer was No... At this point I decided to find out how many people knew this... I started asking people did they know that everything "American girl doll" was made in china... I would say 90% of the people ask said no.. and I asked a lot of people
(maybe 20) BTW my wife and kid wasn't with me for this.. After leaving the store to have a smoke.. I started to enter the store and was stopped at the door by the store security and Manager and was asked to leave.. I asked why and was told by the manager That I was causing a disturbance.. I told them that I was just informing people that everything in the store was made in china and that's all I was doing.. at that point the manager told me that If i didn't leave the cops would be called... I didn't want my kid to be upset at this so I left.. I called the wife from outside stating I didn't want to come back into the store due to it being a mad house and that I was just going to have a walkabout and to call me when they are done.. The wife and kid had a good time there but I only told the wife what happened this morning... I'm somewhat in the dog house now but she knows I kept my calm and didn't mess things up for the kid and kinda understands where I'm coming from... Just a idea of the prices for this Chinese made crap the sunglasses are for the dolls and not people and are only 2.5 inches wide http://store.americangirl.com/agshop...d/1374/uid/716

You are a good Dad for not causing a scene in front of your daughter because I am sure that store was special for her. Why you are in the doghouse with the Mrs is beyond me, you didn't do anything wrong. Chances are, those products are made in labor camps, by Chinese slave children.
